How to sign up and how it works
How do I sign up for Astrópalo?
Through a partner: an agency, consultancy or managed service provider (MSP) that sets up the service and manages it on your behalf. You deal with someone who knows your business — and behind them, we do the technical work.
We don't sell directly so that we can offer a personalized service without the friction of a generic self-service. Your partner takes care of the contract, the modules, billing and any questions you may have. Find a partner near you
Do you need to install anything on my website?
No. We scan from the outside, like any visitor or auditor. We don't need access to your server, your control panel or your code. You just provide the domain and we take care of the rest.
Do you access my server or my database?
Never. Our analysis is 100% external: we do what a browser or an auditor would do — public requests to your domain. We never have credentials, SSH access or access to your database. Whatever isn't publicly exposed, we can't see either.
How quickly do I see results?
The first scan takes about 60 seconds. From there, your partner sets up automatic daily monitoring. You get an alert if anything changes — a certificate about to expire, a new finding, a cookie that isn't configured properly.

What is this GDPR thing?
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation): protects the personal data of EU citizens. It applies to any organization that processes data — from a simple email newsletter to a full customer database. Learn more about GDPR
Does this prevent me from being hacked?
It greatly reduces the risk and warns you about problems before they are exploited. Continuous monitoring detects open doors (expired certificate, misconfiguration, installed skimmer...) before an attacker can take advantage of them.
That said, no external tool guarantees absolute protection. What it does guarantee is that you won't suffer a breach through one of the classic, avoidable problems that cause 80% of incidents in SMEs.
What happens if you find a problem?
We detect it, classify it by severity and explain it to you in plain language — no jargon. You receive an alert and your partner receives the technical details to fix it. The monthly report gathers all findings with their remediation priority.
We don't fix the problem directly (we have no access to your server), but we tell you exactly what needs to be corrected and why — so that you or your developer can act immediately.

How much does Astrópalo cost?
The indicative price starts at 100 USD/month for the base (daily monitoring + monthly PDF report), and you add the compliance modules you need.
